Overview
The swissQuant Design System is a comprehensive collection of refined design standards developed to ensure consistency, scalability, and efficiency across all swissQuant digital products. It includes a robust set of design tokens and guidelines that streamline the prototyping and development process.
The Challenge
Creating a full scale design system alongside ongoing prototyping iterations is never easy if not properly planned and structured. I had to ensure that every element I created was flexible enough to accomodate future revisions while ensuring I don't have to duplicate my work. At the same time I have to maintain legacy prototypes which utilised older design patterns.
The Solution
Through flexibility in my implementation of the design system, and frequent iterations I was able to successfully balance innovation with stability, ensuring a seamless transition to the new system without disruptions to my prototyping responsibilities.
